Comments: Using Votek spaces has helped me show clients what their space will actually look like instead of construction drawings. This has helped greatly to avoid changes later in the project.

Pros:

This software is so easy to use and has so many options for colors textures and features. With the 3d models you can really create a picture for your clients.

Cons:

It would be nice to be able to take a photo of either the room your working with or a photo to create your own skybox.

Comments: Regardless of price, the software is good. The drawings are just what our clients want to see.

Once it is set up, the software is easy to use

The pricing is a little high but it's worth it

A must have for the cutting-edge cabinet shop

Comments: We are able to give our customers very life like renderings that we have been wanting to for a long time. Our current CAD software does a great job with the manufacturing end of our business but the renderings were a little off. Vortek was able to fill this gap seamlessly.

Pros:

Vortek was very easy to integrate with our cad software. It gives us the ability to make changes to client's drawings with a few clicks of the mouse, much better than our current cad software. The renderings that it provides are very lifelike.

Cons:

The VR goggles were a little difficult to set up. I don't believe that it was Vortek's issue but the goggles.

Comments: Overall love the software and ability to export out of our cabinet software. Rendering has improved with each new version, and I will continue to use the software.

Pros:

The continued development of materials and components are great features. Ease of use gets better with each new version.

Cons:

Stitching together images could be a little easier for a walk through video. I think the editing features could be more intuitive.

Pros:

I find what I like most about this software is that it is a bridge between our cabinet program and our clients understanding of what will be built for them. They can easily imagine themselves in the space or allows us to easily communicate changes.

Cons:

It might be a user error on my part, and I don't know about a trick, but I would love to bring in 3D models, such as pendant lights and easily be able to center them on an island and equidistance apart.

it is a must have for 3d rendering

Comments: I have been using this rendering software with cabinet vision for about 4 years now.. before that the built in rendering system was ok.. but I will never be able to go back.. it is an outstanding platform.. ver easy to use and integrate.

Pros:

the ease of operation is incredible. the smooth integration between the two softwares is simple and easy.

Cons:

client has to pay to have their personal logo on it.. for the price we pay I thin that should be included

Great Product

Comments: Overall very satisfied!

Pros:

Love how lightweight it feels while panning around in 3D view. It's much faster than other 3D rendering software I have used. The materials library is second to none!Also love the video walkthrough capability.

Cons:

Applying wood textures with grain are sometimes a bit of challenge with getting the grain direction correct, but with a little bit of time we can get them looking pretty good. Would love the ability to edit my object shapes in my 3D models, but that's asking lot I know.

Custom cabinets

Pros:

This software gives your customers a realistic view of the design making it possible for them to be in control of the fine details that make their job unique to them. this software is so easy to use I was able to render my first project in just a few hours. It is well worth the money it will sell the project for you

Cons:

takes a lot of space on your hard drive. needs a fast computer. (we have a new computer on order)

Pros:

What we like most is the ability to quickly create a realistic rendering by applying manufacturer colors from the provided library.

Cons:

There are sometimes quirks that we encounter when we export from cabinet vision. This has forced us to modify some of our assemblies in our program so that we get correct images.

Pros:

With little to no training I was easily able to begin using the software from the first day we purchased it. For customers who struggle to visualize the end product, this has been huge in helping bring their project to life which helps encourage them to go all in.

Cons:

I wish there was a way to have pre set viewpoints/perspectives, or at least be able to look at items from a certain angle by choosing a view similar to what AUTOCAD has.
