In my case, Stripe held my balance of $3,425.80 for over 1 year after account closure, despite no chargebacks or disputes. Communication from support was limited, and no clear justification was provided for withholding funds beyond the standard reserve period. > > My experience has been disappointing. While the platform works well initially, the risk management and compliance process can result in sudden account closures and prolonged fund holds. My account was closed on Feb 28, 2025, and even after more than a year, my available balance has not been released. Despite multiple follow-ups, including escalations, there has been no resolution.
