Isaac makes E-Logs easy

Comments: Excellent! When we have issues they are dealt with quickly. The solution on the truck side is largely "install the hardware and forget it". on the admin side there is a learning curve, but Isaac is there to address any questions or concerns you may have.

Pros:

Ease of use on the administration and driver side of the solution. Effortless installation and maintenance compared to other E-Logs I have dealt with.

Cons:

I don't have any dislikes perse. There can be ups and downs with Isaac but their support team are quick to respond and get to work to fix every issue I have come across.

Comments: Account well managed, provided every possible solution, On time services, easy contract terms with pre & post sales support.

Pros:

Easy to operate, aligned with Industry needs, proactively updates to latest Transportation compliances

Cons:

Power plug to cradle connection should be of high standards , which frequently broke or came out of the jack of tablet creating operating challenges. Preferably have more repair centers in Toronto area.

Management focused

Comments: The mobile hardware is nice in terms of processing speed and minimal downtime due to routine maintenance but the software learning curve is steep and some beta software modules are utterly useless. ISAAC uses truck drivers as beta testers with little or no regard for end user feedback. They only listen to managers.

Pros:

Very detailed system that can be customized to specific needs.

Cons:

Virtually impossible for an end user like myself (a truck driver) to provide any feedback to the developers at ISAAC. I work for a large company but i am not at liberty to submit any feedback on their behalf because firstly, I am not considered in a position to have an opinion by my company and secondly, ISAAC only comminicates with our company contact. The ISAAC system is designed and only caters to fleet managers. Drivers' opinions are not even considered in the development. When ISAAC states their system is "driver friendly" , I seriously doubt that it is from driver feedback. They definitely have never asked me for any opinion.

Comments: Very pleased with their product. Their customer service is top notch!

Pros:

Ease of use for the driver. The platform takes the guesswork of what status to be in for a specific function and the required remarks are automated.

Cons:

Would love to have GPS location tracking to share with customers through an email link. Within safety, I’d like to see some automated coaching options on the critical events platform.

Ease of use is one of the main driving behind us choosing ISAAC. many of our drivers were requesting the change. After more than 3 years, we see the reliability of this solution

Cons:

Nothing to report here. So far all ISAAC features were a plus for us

Comments: I really appreciate the time and effort ISAAC has put into onboarding customers. Onboarding was WAYY better than our expectations, having implemented similar products in the past.

Pros:

Easy of use, really smooth implementation, and ready out of the box!

Cons:

Our biggest hurdle right now is specific data that is not integrated with our TMS, McLeod.

Avoid Issac

Comments: I can't really review the back-office features. I will say that the dispatchers don't seem to be able to be able to input orders correctly, so apparently there are problems there as well. I certainly can review the driver interface. It is horrible. Drivers are extremely frustrated with Isaac.

Pros:

It is getting some updates that have improved some features. For example, the driver tablets now can scan documents somewhat well, although still not as well as competing devices.

Cons:

As someone with previous experience designing and building user interfaces, I can state that the user interface of the tablet is absolutely hideous. The basic ELD functionality is very poor. It even occasionally randomly changes the driver's status without notifying the driver, resulting in FMCSA violations. The company's CSA scores have risen since switching to ISAAC.

Comments: We moved to ISAAC for ELD solution a little less than 2 years. ISAAC is a quality solution, with great support. I am pretty happy with the move.

Pros:

ISAAC is a great product but i appreciate most the excellent customer service.

Cons:

ISAAC OnRecord is the some thing i always complain. Good that it is going away. Also I think ISAAC tablet is a little too pricey.

Cons:

Not a cheap system, but you get what you pay for Not a perfect system, but the support and response time from the team has been excellent. As well they take user and client suggestions and incorporate them into the system. It is continuously being improved

Great solution for your fleet!

Pros:

Ease of use - intuitive flow, clear selections, etc Dispatcher ability to "live" view drivers tablets to troubleshoot, train, and support - this is an AMAZING feature, use it everyday Smooth integration with our TMS (TMW) allows real time updates in our system One of the easiest software implementations we have ever done! Great support, great product!

Cons:

Honestly, this product has met or surpassed all of our expectations, and has blown our previous alternatives right out of the water!

ISAAC overall experience

Pros:

first of all everything is simple to use in ISAAC tablet and every single update is very reflected to the server very quickly.

Cons:

It's hard to find loopholes in ISAAC. but I found issue in logbook compliance. for Canadian rule set driver don't have to take 2 hours off duty in there shift after taking 8 hours of sleep. if driver don't feel off duty need then why should he take . but they have to take because otherwise they will get violation.

Best ELD and Monitoring for Telematics

Costs are higher than other options however we wanted to represent the smaller companies that want to adhere to the new options for transportation in todays climate and the management of the software to be well received

I like the amount of info it gives you, you can pull up a screen on every activity

As for technical support, fleet managers and super-users have access 7 days a week. All technical support requests are assessed within 20 minutes and managed by our technical support dispatcher. Our "dispatcher model" approach, which mirrors the transportation industry's, is key to ISAAC's responsiveness and excellent client service. Over 95% of requests are closed within 3 days. For driver support, your fleet's manager or ISAAC superuser is the person to turn to for help. They know not only the ISAAC solution really well, but also your company's work processes. They can even access your tablet from a distance if needed!

Un système hautement efficace et technologiquement avancé.

Comments: Le service à la clientèle est rapide courtois et efficace. Les fonctionnalités nous permettent de travailler optimalement dans notre domaine

Pros:

La volonté de développer et d'améliorer les fonctionnalités

Cons:

La qualité de la caméra sur la tablette n'est pas adéquate pour la prise de photo des documents de voyage. Le scan est mieux mais les chauffeurs préfèrent encore mieux utiliser leurs propres application de scan.
