iWorQ is user friendly.

5.0 7 years ago

Comments: iWorQ allowed our department to be come completely paperless as far as violation notices, citations, etc.

Pros:

What I liked most about iWorQ is it allowed our department to be completely paperless, if you had any questions or needed assistance with anything there is someone always willing to assist and the best thing I like about iWorQ is the program is user friendly.

Cons:

I could not find anything wrong with iWorQ. I think the program is perfect with the exception of one thing. iWorQ does not notify an inspector when it is time for re-inspections. You have to track re-inspections on your own.

A good value for the cost

3.0 8 months ago

Pros:

iWorq has an interface that is easy to learn, and can be customized for most organizations and processes. With just a little training, most employees will become capable of using all the important features.

Cons:

iWorq does not make it easy to reach a larger goal in improving efficiency or delivering quality results. It keeps up on day-to-day tasks, but doesn't facilitate making process improvements.

User friendly interface, and very useful for public works department.

4.0 7 years ago

Pros:

Very simple and clear layout, which allows user to customize their own view and features. Reports are easily setup and repeatable to generate.

Cons:

When running reports, you have to select start and end dates separately as the start date you select, automatically becomes the end date, which you then have to re-input the correct end date.

iWorq you work

4.0 5 years ago

Comments: I used to work daily entering work that had been completed. Now it’s infrequent but still
Using the system. I think it’s a worthwhile and trusted source for the purpose it holds.

Pros:

Great way to house records and be able to attain past notes in Jobs that were done. EAsy way to allocate costs also.

Cons:

Not very user friendly. Takes a while to train in and get comfortable using. It’s a bit tedious with all the fill in.

Read the contract carefully!

3.0 2 years ago

Comments: In addition, to payment for services not rendered, later as we were migrating to the off-site service, we were having issues with our iWorQ backup file. It was a .bak file and we couldn’t find a way to get our data out of it. We reached out to iWorQ for technical help with this. We were told that we did not have a year of service but were instead terminated as an iWorQ customer. This request was then followed by another abusive phone call from [sensitive content hidden] to me and instructions to leave them alone. Again, my concerns were not with the software but rather the leadership of this company. Clearly when it was apparent that we were no longer a viable customer, the need for civil discourse was gone. I feel that their contract was sneaky and predatory aimed at maximizing revenue. Lastly and ironically, we have been barraged by their sales staff trying to sign us up for new sales. Multiple people in the organization have been called by inside sales staff trying to sell us iWorQ software. I don’t know if this is corporate incompetence or harassment. Remember, the front-line service from a company is primarily the workers in the trenches, but it is also strongly impacted by executive personalities. There are many companies that provide this service. If the town looks for this again in the future, we will not be looking at iWorQ.

Pros:

Our concerns were not with the software itself. I think that performed as it was supposed to. The concerns rather fall with the corporate governance and processes.

Cons:

When I became aware of the software as a new Water Utilities Director, the Town was primarily using iWorQ for tracking our backflow program. The other public works modules were not being utilized. We decided to off-site the backflow program, and therefore did not have a need the iWorQ software suite any longer. We didn’t budget further for the software and let our current license lapse. We were then contacted rigorously by iWorQ for full payment of the next years license fee that cumulated with a strongly worded e-mail by the [sensitive content hidden]. I contacted [sensitive content hidden] by phone to see if we could work out a compromise that included a prorated payment for the months in 2022 past the anniversary date. He was not interested in compromise. He just quoted the contract which had a requirement of a notice of 3 months prior to the anniversary date if we intended to cancel the software. The late fee if you missed that 3 month window was a full year of software fees. I indicated that I didn’t think that was reasonable and he became very abusive to me on the phone calling me and the Town a joke and other unnecessary slurs. I ended that phone call promptly. I also authorized the Town to pay the AP which was a full year of this software suite.
