Very good option for anyone looking to set up sales landing pages quickly and easily

Pros:

It has a simple user interface that makes it easy to set up without technical know-how. Samcart allows you to customize the look and feel of your landing pages to make them unique. It enables you to sell digital products like courses, and ebooks, as well as coaching, consulting, and other services. And you have payment processing, analytics, and all kinds of other features to help you maximize your online sales.

Cons:

The cost of Samcart is greater than some other platforms on the lower price plan, and some of its best features like Subscription Saver are available only on the more expensive plan. Despite this, we think Samcart is worth considering.

5-STAR Customer Support & GREAT product overall!

Comments: SAMCART has revolutionized my sales page capabilities esp for upselling my product. And I really looking forward to integrating something they call "order bumps" into my online course salespage. The sales page layout and elements are attractive and intuitive to use and make the customer's purchasing experience simple and elegant. I have to put an additional plug in here for [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], a customer service rep that really went above and beyond in helping me. We did an onboarding call and she helped solve a laundry list of questions and helped me troubleshoot beautifully. She is humorous, light-hearted and incredibly good at her job. She had other things that helped me besides just in SAMCART too, and that extra care really makes a difference. Especially when I was going cross-eyed with all the tech learning to launch my new online group coaching course! Thanks, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]!

Pros:

I greatly appreciate what this product has brought into my company as far as efficiency and maximizing profitability. But I have to say that what I like most about this product i the top-notch Customer Service. I have worked directly with 3 different customer service reps and all have been professional, efficient, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and just really help their company's product sing. SAMCART has so many useful elements and they are constantly improving. One of the best tech product/services I've bought as a business owner.

Cons:

I can't quite figure out how to us the product in test mode to try it out before publishing. But I'm pretty sure that 's just user error and that I will learn that on my next check in call!

Want to steal your money

Comments: I don't recommend. Unless you want no 3D secure on the cards and ready to accept a bad experience.

Pros:

No 3d secure for european cards, it's the only good point

Cons:

Very bad upsell management, bad customer UI, and the worst : VERY BAD customer expeirnce / pricing management. You feel like a cow needed to be milked. One example : i wanted to downgrade my subscription : they said they would send me an email, they never did. Very bad dark pattern. Fix your product instead of ripping people off.

SamCart Solved All My Problems Simply

Comments: This has been my best experience ever with any online platform. I was able to start earning five figures a month within weeks of joining, and their tech support helped smooth out any bumps (I had zero tech and almost no marketing experience before joining SamCart). I feel like I owe them so much more than their highly affordable annual fee for helping my business grow exponentially so quickly!

Pros:

The ease of building the pages and the quality of the pages is exceptional. I particularly like the Testimonials section. Strong customer support and seamless payment processing.

Cons:

I want it to integrate with every other product ever made, but I guess some software companies are not yet on board the SamCart train so for now Zapier is a bridge to some platforms (2000 of them) that are not directly integrated yet.

SamCart is the bells & whistles of checkout pages.

Comments: SamCart has a built-in affiliate plan you get access for (to create your own affiliate program), but for the small amount of affiliates I have and that even practiced my affiliate program, it just wasn't worth $199/month for me. If they had a sales page builder included, then $199/month would make sense for me. Or, if retrying failed payments was included in the $99/month plan, that would make sense. Podia's checkout process may not be as robust, but they cover all the rest at a fraction of the price.

Pros:

You can't get a better checkout page than what you'll build with Samcart! Truly. I really loved the various templates included in their plan and the fact that you can brand your checkout pages. The testimonials you can add to checkout pages and the quick summaries of what the customer is receiving is awesome too.

Cons:

At the time of my using them, there were two plan options. You had to do the higher $199/month plan in order for them to retry failed payments. I felt that to be unfair and should be a standard part of their plans. I was paying the higher $199/month plan just for that feature... but most of the time, customer payments were cleared.

Horrible experience with Sam Cart-DO NOT PURCHASE

Comments: Horrible. I was left on my own to teach myself how to create my own course through the training videos. The training videos are complicated there long and difficult to stay focused with. Additionally, unless you know how to videotape yourself this is a complete waste of money, As it has been for me. This product is not for newbies as they assured me that it was.

Pros:

I don’t. I have tried for almost a year to get through the training videos that teach me about creating my course. However, unless you are good with videotaping yourself, you will be lost as I was. They tell you that it only takes 14 days to create this course but it takes you longer than that to get through the training videos on how to do this all. It’s very complicated it is absolutely not simple and if you don’t know what you’re doing you’re going to get lost like I have. On top of that I purchased this believing it was a one time fee to create my course and when I couldn’t make anything work I chalked it off to a bad $300 wasted. However now they Want to charge me $349 to re-up for another year! I was under the impression it was only a one time fee and now I am trying to get my money refunded which is becoming extremely difficult. I decided to do a buyer beware review to as many sites as I could to let people know if you don’t know how to create a course, do not purchase their course builder. You will be completely lost as I have been.

Cons:

Unless you know how to create a course you were not going to know how to do this. The videos assume that you know how to write what you need to write and you know how to create a video! They market to people who are new to this by saying how easy it is that you can do in 14 days. That is a scam! Unless you have 10 hours a day for those 14 days to go through all the training videos create your written content and then create all the videos you have to make that is an impossible task.

SamCart - from a newbie

Comments: I am new to the world of online courses. (I've always done live workshops before). This has been a great tool for self-study and to try out what will work for me.

Pros:

This software is pretty user friendly. Lots of drag and drop features and easy customization. As a visual person, this was great for me. My most appreciated part of SamCart is its training videos - the content and amount of learning that they offer is fantastic.

Cons:

My biggest hurdle with this software is that it does not integrate with Square or a POS that will allow customers to pay in many ways. This is limited, which I feel might be a negative deciding point at the end of it all. I'd like to see things be VERY EASY TO BUY for the customers.

A great tool that is consistently improving

Comments: Overall, SamCart is a great, reliable and very effective tool that is pretty easy to use. There wasn't much of a learning curve and so it was very intuitively design with incredible customer service. Also all the helpful and free tutorials received from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]
and his team were value-packed and incredible resources.

Pros:

I loved the drag and drop design functionality which allowed me to design beautiful sales pages and opt-ins.

Cons:

Sometimes it was a little annoying when in the middle of designing something would trigger some type of refresh and I would lose the work that I had just done and would need to start again. But that could have been because it was still in the early days of their updated design (just fresh out of beta).

Comments: OVerall it's a good, easy to use platform. Pretty straight forward and the templates that they have are good to use so that you're not starting from a blank canvas.

Pros:

The product is easy to use and the training that they give is very good. Step by step process. They walk you through how to create, design and launch your first product in a relatively short amount of time.

Cons:

There is a huge price jump to get added features such as price bump which I really wanted but isn't offered in the basic package.

Good eCommerce platform that can get expensive

Comments: SamCart can be a good choice for delivering courses, the checkout page features are quite interesting. Pricing should be considered, the advanced selling tools and support can make it a valuable investment for some creators

Comments: I am super happy with SamCart, with what they offer, how they are constantly improving and upgrading and how helpful Customer Support is.

I love that SamCart makes it possible for people who are not tech savvy to get their work out.

Custom Checkout Pages, Intuitive Templates, Easy to Set Up & Use

Comments: Since software has evolved many of the platforms that I use have integrated ways to collect payments. For example, I use Teachable and you can collect payments on their platform. Also, I use convert kit and they have a way for you to collect payments via email. However, I still think that Samcart is superior to these other platforms. There check out pages are like sales pages also and they allow you to include a testimonial and a money back guarantee and a overview of what the customer is paying for so there’s this one page check out experience that I think has definitely increased my conversions overtime . In addition to this, the back end management of Samcart is so user-friendly and there are so many custom ways that you can work to help people adjust their payment plans if they need to it is really an excellent platform.

Pros:

I have been using Samcart for more than five years and it’s just gotten better over time. They have beautiful drag & drop templates that allow you to build your pages with little to no design skill. It’s also really easy to make multiple pages by saving a template and then reloading it every time that you create a new product. I find that a lot of times with new software there’s a steep learning curve in setting it up and with Samcart you almost don’t need to go through any training because you can just figure it out as you go.

Cons:

I don’t really have any complaints nor do I think there’s anything that is missing. It integrates with all of my software, they have excellent customer service & they continue to improve overtime. They provide exactly what they are stating and it’s an excellent tool.

Samcart is a Solid and Easy to Use Platform

Comments: My overall experience with Samcart has been very good.

I really enjoy and appreciate the ease of use with Samcart's products and course app once I got over the small learning curve.

Cons:

There was a bit of a learning curve in the beginning, but, I believe it's normal when learning any new software.

Super User Friendly, Just Not for Starting Out or Services

Comments: Great! Just not too value for money at the lowest price point.

Pros:

I love how easy it is to use SamCart. It is user-friendly, has great functionality, sets up fast with lots of data reporting. Best of all, it has one-click upsells, bump offers, and premade checkout pages that have been proven to convert. I also really like that it offers multiple ways to pay (in full, installments, etc) to a single checkout page.

Cons:

I can't justify the $49/month lowest pricing tier with limited features (no order bump, post-purchase upsells or multiple payment options), especially if you're just starting out. Solopreneurs might want to look elsewhere. It's also more for selling information products, software, and memberships rather than services.

I LOVE this product.

Comments: I immediately loved using SamCart because it was so easy to set up. The order bump and upsell features helped me to sell into six figures my first year using it. And that was also the first year that I even started that business. It is the one single product I could not go without in my business.

Pros:

Simple to use, easy for beginners, and the fact that it is so easy to sell multiple products at one time to customers.

Can't think of one, single tiny, thing!

Robust and Powerful Selling System

Comments: Overall, I'm hoping to continue using the service long term. They make selling, and more importantly, increasing order value about as seamless and effortless as possible with all their selling features like order bumps and upsells.

Pros:

What I've been impressed with most, has been their friendly, hand-on customer support. They reached out immediately upon sign-up offering assistance. And the support person I had went the extra mile in every way, from providing valuable feedback on salespage design, to reaching out to her PayPal rep to have a feature turned on in my account - all without me doing a thing. True customer care.

Cons:

It is definitely more complex and time consuming than their marketing makes it seem. Could you get a page published in 5-10mins? Yes. IF you already have other things setup and in place. And, if you don't care about design or sales conversions. It's not as cut and dry as it seems. But, the value is still there.

Changed the way I do business

Comments: The help was phenominal. Got a walkthrough with a live human as soon as I bought it, then was directed to the extremely detailed and helpful tutorials on pretty much anything Samcart can do. They were great because you could just watch the ones you needed and ignore the rest. Their help desk was also very responsive and always followed up to ensure an issue was resolved. This product literally changed the way I did business and I could never have done what I needed to do without it.

Pros:

I loved that I could create a sales page and have my cart/credit card processing all in one piece of software. Also enjoyed the ease with which I could integrate this with my email software and other programs

Cons:

There was a bit of a learning curve when creating my sales page, but that's because there is just SO MUCH FUNCTIONALITY it takes a while. But once you've figured it out, it's amazing.

Really good Checkout solution

Pros:

Samcart is our primary tool to sell online, they offer a complete solution that will help to boost your online sales. The platform is pretty easy to use and offer everything that is needed to build a profitable online business. The platform is old enough to have a real MRR and sustainability, which is something you want when you choose your cart solution.

Cons:

The platform is a little expensive, but I think it's well worth. You want sustainability with your checkout solution.

Good Idea with slow customer support

Comments: Very bad and frustrating for 2021

It seems to be easy to use, but the way in which the customer support is organized maked it a nightmare

Cons:

I really don't understand how in 2021 they don't have chat support. Applications that are simpler and that are not so critical for the support of a company offer chat support. It is very very frustrating to work everything by EMAIL, because there is a significant delay between what you want to do and what actually happens. It has been a very bad experience for as a new customer. At this point, I can't tell you if the solution works or not because I haven't been able to move forward. I have encountered problems that I have not been able to solve and do not allow me to move forward. The Idea that they sell you in the webinars and marketing stuff is great, however, you have a learning curve, which I wouldn't mind. But the support they give you to make things happen is very slow. (Speacilly because you are a paying customer) This is not free customer support. You are paying for support

My favorite software for Product Checkouts

Comments: SamCart makes it easy to sell online, and you don't need to be too techie to start using this one.

Pros:

SamCart helps creating Order pages way fast where you can easily add Order bumps and upsells to your Order page as well (these help improving the Average Transaction Value). Plus, I like how they keep improving things e.g. now you can create Courses inside SamCart, and can use Drag n Drop landing page builder.

Cons:

At the moment, nothing that I can think of.

It is a little more expensive if you are new to digital content sales.

The place to sell

Comments: Love to work with it.

Pros:

Very easy to set up and customize, still guidance everywhere.

Cons:

Not everything is internatinalizable, i.e. the invoices come as 'Order recipts' which is pretty nonsense in Europe.

A great Clickfunnel alternative

Comments: I'm not the biggest SamCart fan due to the lack of hyper custom design options, and don't particularly like there's no 'free product' optin to kickstart the funnel, but it's rather easy and straightforward to create and manage products and funnels, and create custom flows. The checkout pages automatically have modern sleek designs, so no ugly or "loud" or annoying funnel designs - it feels like checking out at a regular store as opposed to a hacky scammy funnel.

Pros:

Modern interface Product management (meaning don't have to recreate products) Pretty straightforward to use - OTO, upsell, and downsell offers easy to add Can create hyper custom funnels by mixing and matching products

Cons:

Funnel creation is a little confusing initially Not too many design options - so likely need an additional landing page to help sell the benefits of the product No 'free product' option - like for email optins

Comments: In general is a good platform but expensive, also needs improvements. It could be more user-friendly, specially with reports.

Pros:

It is helpful for selling products, services, online courses, memberships, recurring payments and more. Integration with Paypal and Stripe is really great. What I like most is the integration with accounting software, so invoices are created automatically.

Cons:

The structure of the platform is not quite good, it could be difficult to understand who has paid you when you search by date, it just shows the total amount and there is not an option to see the details.
