All smiles with iGuide
Comments: I have had mostly great experiences with iGuide during the past 3 years that I have used their services.
Pros:
iGuide is very user friendly and the customer service is great. When assistance is required they are very helpful and efficient. When a service ticket is logged they resolve the request promptly.
Cons:
The DWG files can become quite pricy on large properties. Sometimes have a bit of over-exposure in very bright places.
Alternatives Considered:
Matterport Killer?
Comments: Excellent, after nearly a month of reviews and research the layout and pricing of iGuide just sat well with us, there were cheaper options but everything about Planitar and iGuide was exciting for us.
Pros:
The speed of capture is essential for a busy diary and the single scan time is perfect. The side by side floorplan navigation as you move through the entire scan is perfect for our marketing. The addition of negotiator banner is always helpful with social media accounts
Cons:
Its not a con but the image quality is slightly less crisp than expected but still top tier system for the housing industry
Working Experience
Comments: Too early at this time. Response time by Drafting team preparing the IGuide has been excellent .
Pros:
Somewhat easy to integrate on a Mac and Windows 10 platform.
Cons:
Survey software difficult to place scans into position and control keys somewhat cumbersome.
iGuide for the win
Comments: Fabulous
Pros:
I was a very early Adopter of a competitors product. After realizing that the customer service was terrible I sold that product. Soon after I found iGuide and took the plunge. I haven’t looked back and I believe I have the best 3-D tours on my MLS. The ease of use is good but what really set says company part is their continual updates and education.
Cons:
Not much. Quite honestly every time I use the camera I’m surprised by how intuitive the software is. They are also rolling out updates on a regular basis that have made the camera and software incredibly easy to use
Groundbreaking new equipment for fire scene documentation!
Comments: The unit is lite and compact. It fits easily on the plane for travel. The system works well in low light conditions and provides high quality panos of the scene.
Pros:
The software allows me to download the panos and secure them, they are not left on a server somewhere that I have to pay for access to again. The customer service is excellent. The unit is small and scans well in the dark and irregular environment of the fire scenes we encounter.
Cons:
There is some learning curve on using the stitch software to line up the IR scans, but with some effort and time, this is easily overcome by watching the training videos provided.
The BEST virtual tour ecosystem on the market
Comments: I'm new to the system, but so far the onboarding has been fairly simple and the support has been fantastic. Proud to have a Canadian company offering such a fine product.
Pros:
No monthly fees; free floorplans; very fast capture compared to other systems; great customer support; consistent updates to tech & back end.
Cons:
Image resolution is not as high as other offerings; not a true "3D" output.
Great product and great team.
Comments: I say the overall experience has been great. When I had questions they answered in a timely manner. Cant really complain. I am still learning the software and hardware but so far so good.
Pros:
Ease of use. Great customer service. Good pricing compared to the competitors.
Cons:
Some of the tutorials are out of date and confusing. The portal can be made a little better.
Alternatives Considered:
Slight learning curve but excellent support
Comments: Extremely positive from the start. [sensitive content hidden] was so accommodating during the sales process, and [sensitive content hidden] is ace for answering questions.
Pros:
All questions I have had have been answered quickly and efficiently.
Cons:
Cant remove the photo gallery option if there is a pic in the gallery, but you need a pic in the gallery for the thumbnail.
Visually, iGuide Makes More Sense for Potential Home Buyers
Comments: Adding iGuide Virtual Tours has helped my Realtor clients sell more properties, save more time by showing fewer properties that fit home buyer's needs that they are excited to see, and separate themselves from their competition when doing listing presentations. This experience helps my Realtor clients feel like I am part of their team and I feel good that I can provide a service that will enhance their business, their family life, and their personal goals. I know I am making a difference in people's lives by offering iGuide Virtual Tours.
Pros:
As a full-time photographer and former Realtor. iGuide Virtual Tours make more sense visually. By putting myself in the shoes of a home buyer when I was researching a virtual tour platform. Helps me help my clients sell more properties, save time for Realtors and Home Buyers. Because of the ability to have a home buyer able to see where they are in the home with the interactive floor plan directly to the left of the 360 virtual tours all in one panel. This is one of the most important features which makes iGuide far more superior to any other virtual tour product.
Cons:
The only con is that I took too long to add this to my camera bag.
Excellent product supported by excellent staff
Comments: Simply wonderful! If every vendor was like these folks it would be a wonderful world.
Pros:
I was nervous when I purchased iGuide. I'd never done a virtual tour and my only experience with pano was trying to use a nodal and then manually stitching images. It was not an easy task. The iGuide support team was incredibly supportive as I went through the learning curve. They keep coming out with new features and the give weekly support classes and calls. It has been a terrific experience. The turnaround on projects is also incredible. I can submit a project when I get home and often I'll have a finished project in my inbox, ready to present to my clients. Recently I got to present iGuide to an open house to over 50 Realtors. I did a lot of 1:1 and 2:1 presentations (over a four hour event) Without exception all the realtors were amazed at the quality of images, compared to the other comparable vendors that they had historically used. One comment I heard repeatedly was: "your iGuide images don't make me dizzy or sick. The other virtual tours I've seen can make me feel dizzy and sick!" I've got to train some others to use this for me and the learning curve is incredibly short. It's truly fun to use.
Cons:
Anything that I'd want to add has either been added or is close to being added. It's a constantly evolving technology and they are doing a great job staying on top of this technology.
Outstanding Customer Service and being Canadian was all I needed!
Comments: iGUIDE has been a revolutionary product for my photography business as well as the coaching from head office, allowing my business growth and development from a part time gig to a full time business about to expand and hire staff.
Pros:
The ease of use was one thing that made this software and company more attractive but what set it apart was it was Canadian owned and operated and the customer service and support was outstanding even from my initial call to inquire, to purchasing the unit and 3 years later upgrading camera and software, billing and more. It is a complete package and I am glad to have them on my team.
Cons:
Like anything there is always room for improvement and growth in the industry but iGUIDE is always updating and bringing in new technology to our program. Lots of training videos and user portal for all the questions we need assistance with.
Excellent Tool For Real Estate Marketing
Comments: We came over from Matterport and have not regretted it one bit. Everything is just better, from the overall product to the support system (forum, ticket and phone) And it make sense to push a Canadian business like ourselves.
Pros:
iGuide has been an excellent tool that we have incorporated into our real estate marketing business. We primarily offer photos and videography but have found that many agents want to add on floorplans. Its been an easy upsell for us because of the price point we can offer and the quick turnaround time from iGuide.
Cons:
I cant really think of any real cons. They have it set up so shooting is about as fast as you can possibly get. On the backend, preparing the files using the stitch program takes 5 mins at the most...so again its pretty damn fast....lol
Best Technology
Comments: In Real estate Industry, iGuide makes sellers impress when it is used for advertising selling their house also helps buyers to navigate through the house that potentially they are buying in their connivance
Pros:
iGuide is a better understanding of space, Easy walk through the house, having measurements of all area available, friendly navigation, showing all amenities nearby
Cons:
This software is coming a long way, all updating made operating much easier,,, great job
Great upgrade for real estate photographers
Comments:
Since joining the iGuide/Planitar team the experience has exceeded all my highest expectations. The customer service and support teams have been awesome and easy to work with. My agents are loving the value add and I am booked and busier than I have ever been in the 5 years since I started RE photography.
I'm looking forward to a long relationship growing and expanding with Planitar/iGuide as they do.
Pros:
Not a steep learning curve, easy to use as advertised, great value add to my photography services, finding out so many different applications for this software if I wanted to branch out into other industries too.
Cons:
It wasn't clear what to do after it arrived at my house after the unboxing. As silly as that sounds I had to watch 3rd party YouTube vids to see step by step what to do next - From start to finish shooting/editing/exporting, it felt like a lot of tiny details were missing in the resources provided.
It improved my overall sales
Comments: My experience overall has been great. At this point in time, I know I made the right decision compared to the well-known competitor.
Pros:
It measures very accurately. The resolution of the final product (360 virtual tour) is great and looks natural. It provides a finished floor plan as part of the tour. No hosting fees. It is well supported. Tech support and admin are very easy to work with and informative. Overall it saves a good amount of time in creating a virtual tour vs. older methods. The processing value for what is paid is very high.
Cons:
Coming up to speed at first. It required a decent learning curve. The cost of the hardware was very expensive at the time I had purchased compared to today's pricing.
Delighted Clients with the iGUIDE
Comments: My overall experience has been very positive. I would highly recommend the iGUIDE camera system.
Pros:
Having been a Realtor for over 15 years and done my own and other agent's property photography I was really excited when I found the iGUIDE camera system. It is relatively simple to use and my residential and commercial real estate clients are delighted with the results. There are so many features in each report for the agents to use to sell each property that it is easy to retain them as clients.
Cons:
The support team at Planitar, the makers of the iGUIDE camera, is really great and they are always open to suggestions for improvements. They have great training and weekly webinars to support operators. The support from other operators from all around North America for each other is remarkable too. A wonderful community of photographers.
Revolutionized my photography business
Comments: I was having trouble building a clientele with photography only. When I joined the iGUIDE family and began to offer 3D Tours and Floor Plans, overnight I became that much more marketable to realtors looking for one-stop-shopping.
Pros:
Loved how easy it is to get up and running; yet there are intricacies which allow me to fine-tune the experience more and more as I learn.
Cons:
Pretty much no cons. As limitations are discovered, Planitar is responsive to make improvements or show me how to overcome limitations.
iGuide is an outstanding tool for creating and hosting 3D Virtual Tours!
Comments: In my over 40 years of professional experience I've never worked with a company that provided better support and customer service than Planitar (iGuide)
Pros:
Ease of Use, Speed of capture, accuracy of measurements and outstanding support and customer service.
Cons:
Nothing comes to mind, I truly feel it's the best solution out there for creating Virtual Tours. I guess it would be nice if it was totally free, but that's a little unrealistic ;-)
iGuide Review
Comments: My experience with iGuide has been superb! the process is fast efficient and and renders a superb product
Pros:
Webinars provided weekly by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] are superb and assist in understanding the camera and software.
Cons:
There are no CONS to the webinars, they should be sustained and are extremely valuable

Planitar - iGUIDE

Insurance World Practicality
Pros:
Speed. Time is money and if you can get in and out with documentation in half the time........well.
Cons:
Accuracy of ESX file that was received. The ceilings were all flat, Matterport for instance has proper ceiling types always with out me having to manipulate. This is a big one to me.
Love the Camera
Comments: Support is very helpful and will gleefully help you get through the learning curve.
Pros:
When I added iGuide to my list of services, I was selected by a local builder's and remodeler's association to do 3D virtual tours of newly built homes for their clients. I also found that you can take stills with the camera as well as pull off stills from the panoramas. Overall, once I got over the learning curve, I found the camera and software easy to use, and the customers loved the results.
Cons:
Cons: It's pricey, but worth the investment if you're serious about the real estate photography business.
