A reliable solution
Comments: Its progress has fostered a cybersecurity wisdom, strengthening itself through the alignment and firm instruction of employees individually, as well as members of companies, especially regarding the events and set of techniques, also if it is not used correct software can lead to all the risks and threats that you stumble upon by not navigating cautiously and checking that the due diligence you are executing is positive.
Pros:
What the security program offers is more than tasks or systematics, such as the encryption and encryption of the investigation, double authentication for access to information, the establishment of firewalls, the execution of antivirus, measures to avoid the inquiry. Due to all this, we manage to protect and safeguard the data of the devices of those who access the internet in the company.
Cons:
Likewise, it is valued from the perspective that not every year the company's equipment is updated, to be consistent with the software.
Alternatives Considered:
Budget-Friendly Small Company Solution
Pros:
MetricStream (MS) CyberSecurity solution is most suitable to small companies in the beginning phase of implementing Cybersecurity systems. It has easy to use basic (and some advances) functionalities that are perfect as a starter tool offering Risk, Compliance, Vendor and Business Continuity Management. It has a one size fits all approach, however, a lot of functionalities can be customized. It is easy to deploy and integrate to your company's SSO. All the risk management solutions offered can be integrated to avoid silos. Automation is a key feature which greatly reduces manual effort an increases efficiency.
Cons:
The implementation takes too long and 9 to 5 support is not always available. Because the tool works with a 1 size fits all approach, although some customization is possible, most of the times, it is hard to customize to align with the industry standard. The UI could use a lot if improvement as right now it is sometimes hard to navigate. MS is not very good at integrating with other standard tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, etc. and real time sync with these is not available at present. Not a great tool for a mature Security function.
