Scalable, Flexible and Easy to use IRM platform that would mostly fit in any business vertical's GRC

Comments: GRC related business problems are similar sounding but very different from organisation to organisation. I like the design to cater distinct customised implementation with fast pace and ease of operation for users, right from its framework which has immense flexibility. This cuts down our time to involve in set up and commence the system for use. It truly stands out made for typical requirements of forms, workflow, dashboards, integration and reporting with almost seamless functioning.

Pros:

Maclear's easy approach to provide flexible forms, integration openness and facilities, reporting capability and get almost everything that GRC organisation visualises. Its best practices and adoption of standards are vital to the sustainance of software system backed up by inherent flexibility and scalability of software. It is easy to adopt with least or training.

Cons:

As user or solution provider would generally expect simpler 'Click--> next--->next--->> Done' kind of approach for any software installation, it would be delightful. However, I understand that it takes care of many source of data points, diverse reporting and most critically, integration with various systems. So the set up method or time is not really the area that I can genuinely dislike.

Comments: Maclear provided RKON with a flexible and customizable framework to meet our internal government regulation, industry mandates, and international standards compliance. Maclear's eGRC Suite also provided RKON with a platform to provide Compliance, Security Architecture, Risk Advisory, and Executive Metrics our our Private Equity and Portfolio Companies.

Pros:

Maclear's platform is completely customizable and flexible to meet all GRC needs to meet our internal business and external client requirements.

Cons:

As with most GRC software, initial set up and configuration requires experienced assistance and guidance. But once the initial set up is completed, minor changes and adjustments are easy to manage.

Best Automated and Integrated modular GRC suite product

Comments: Vendor risk management and its comprehensive reports is surely bringing value to us.
It’s admin and user interface which is flexible and easy to configure brings great user experience
UI of the product is amazing liked it...

Pros:

Flexible,Modular and very easy to use. Less human effort and built in intelligence of domain knowledge.Great dashboards and easily integrable with ecosystem.

Cons:

Chat bot would be an option to be setup for addressing queries interactively anywhere anytime regarding product and it’s modules

Pros:

This is an ideal integrated risk management product for a business that needs to keep track of their risk and compliance requirements. Their Vendor Risk Management solution is of the highest class. The integration between various use case solutions provides a holistic view of the risk in the organization. Top Features: 1. Risk Calculator 2. Assessment Questionnaires that are easy to setup 3. Printing Reports in customizable formats

Cons:

API's to third party vulnerability tools would be a wonderful feature and they are working on including this in their next major software release later this year.

Business-minded Governance, Risk and Compliance Management Excellence

Comments: My experience with the product and the customer service delivered were amazing.

Pros:

I loved the fact that Maclear eGRC ties all risks into quantitative format. Maclear is clearly a leader in thinking through this need. Business leaders want to see risk in quantitative measurements and Maclear delivers.

Cons:

Note: What I like least has likely already changed with product updates and I was one of the first users and with that comes issues. I least liked the User Interface that felt like you were administrating a database versus inputting into fields that populated the database. Again, this likely has already been addressed in subsequent versions.

Pros:

Customer Service/Support is awesome! The people are the best to deal with. They are very knowledgeable and will help you address any problem you bring to them.

Cons:

In older versions of the software, it was harder to use and not as robust. However, they have addressed many of these concerns by updating their software with a more robust platform. They also have included easy to use templates to get you started.

Best cost effective solution providing a Single source for the true depiction of enterprisewide Risk

Comments: Every flexible solution has but one problem and that is to strike a right balance of achieving the end objective with the least complicated workflows / automations and user screens. Further to be able to stich up a right mix of modules and automation functionalities, so as to keep the workflow simple for end users. This is a minor flaw that the flexibility brings with it in spite of the overwhelming merits, with an able consulting and Implementation team and the right approach this can be easily addressed.

Pros:

Maclear is Futuristic Solution with a Bright Future. Any successful GRC implementation in an organisation has an evolution cycle to it, some start with certain GRC areas while others with a big Bang approach. Therefore in these modern dynamic times an organisations needs an able and scalable solution that will automate the GRC framework with the right configurations, automation, workflow and reporting capabilities, which can fit best to the GRC modular or big bang Implementation approach, as well as scale up to growth. Maclear has these amazing capabilities, as due to its user friendly and end user definable flexible automation capabilities, domain experts can easily adopt technology and help build an integrated GRC framework in no time. This capabilities brightens the adoption of the solution for an organisations GRC needs in a faster and assured manner.

Maclear is agile and pathbreaking as a solution. Maclear has an excellent team of techno functional consultants who are ably skilled and having years of experience, with amazing capabilities to understand problem statements and provide effective solutions assisted by precious consulting advise. Backed by leadership that is attentive to modern user needs and very receptive to feedback, being experienced GRC Professionals themselves they can relate quickly to Implementation needs and thus carve out an excellent Product roadmap and User fraternity reach programs, across Industry segments. Best value for money IRM/GRC solution, easy to use and deploy with excellent customer support

Comments: Unique feature of separate Admin and User environments login enables partners like us to provide a secure service offering around the solution. Similarly, third party vendor assessments are completed in a separate environment which provides added security to clients and vendor assessment audits can performed and captured directly within the record to provide a streamlined solution and full audit trail.

Pros:

Maclear's product is one of the easiest to use and deploy. The solution suite is comprehensive, flexible and scalable to meet most client needs. As a partner we have found the training and support excellent with the team always receptive to feedback on enhancements.

Cons:

Initial versions were not as user friendly, but this has been ironed out now. Integration to third party solution has been a challenge, however, this is now being tackled.

Customized Convenience

Comments: The things that really stand out to be about Maclear over Archer/Rsam is value for money and customer service. If we needed something updated, e put in s ticket and it was done over night. It was also very clean in it's approach to drag and drop layouts. Getting ahold of company reps was easy to do and they always were eager to assist.

Pros:

The flexibility of being able to customize the solution to our needs without having to work within bulky default packages.

Cons:

Building the workflows to get the desired end result. (I only say that as being a previous customer on older versions, not sure how it is done currently)

Maclear professional services leveraged across two different companies and roles.

Pros:

Maclear professional services where of a high quality in assisting to implement eGRC software across both a retail and financial services company. The implementation went well with Maclear demonstrating flexibility that would not otherwise be available in larger less nimble companies. They expressed a willingness to address customer needs that were unique and somewhat complex. They also provided a high quality of guidance that would also not have been available from a larger entity that may have a much narrower focus. Working with Maclear at these two different companies demonstrated the high value add working with a smaller more flexible entity can be.

Cons:

My experience with Maclear was regarding an implementation of an alternative eGRC tools, but their services could be equally applied since they have demonstrated an ability to be flexible.

Comments: Very Satisfying.

Pros:

As a partner, our success is dependent on delivering customer requirements in an efficient manner. Customers require unique solutions to their processes and Maclear’s agile approach to creating solutions by leveraging their expert team and agile software is the win for both partners and customers. As a partner, you want to work with a team that listens to you and is agile in improving their software to create dynamic functionality and that is what the Maclear team does!

Cons:

There are some minor Gaps as compared to In-point, specific solutions. But with the team enthusiasm and their strong road map, we are confident that even that will be filled up.

Comments: Very positive. Integration of this software platform has improved our business processes and ultimately made our business more organized. This has lead directly to increased profitability.

Pros:

User friendly interface, great technical support, flexible software platform with quick integration of new features.

No specific concerns as all concerns and needs have been addressed.
